When I was a child, I used to climb to the top of the tallest building I could find.
Not metaphorically. Physically.
Fire escapes, ledges, anything I could grip. Sometimes full parkour style before I even knew there was a name for it. Yes, I was a little wild. Yes, it was probably a terrible idea. And no, I would absolutely do it again.
I would get to the top, lie flat on my back, and stare into the night sky.
And I would ask questions that had no business living in a child’s mind.
What is a star?
Where does space end?
Are the aliens here already?
The kind of questions that don’t gently tap at your mind. They grab it. Stretch it. Sometimes nearly break it.
There were nights I would feel so small, so suspended in the vastness of it all, that it bordered on madness.
And yet… I kept going back.
Because somewhere between the fear and the wonder, something in me knew the truth long before I had language for it.
This world is not normal.
It never was.
We just forgot how to see it.
And perhaps even more importantly…
We forgot how to see ourselves inside of it.
We live on a planet that is quietly, relentlessly magical, even when we insist on reducing it to data points and deadlines.
Beneath our feet, forests are not silent. They are in conversation.
Trees communicate through vast underground networks, sharing nutrients, warning one another of danger, even protecting their own offspring. A mother tree will send resources to her saplings growing in the shadows, making sure they have a chance to rise.
There are beings rooted to the Earth… practicing a kind of devotion many humans are still learning to remember.
And then there is the ocean, that ancient, breathing mystery.
Out in its depths, whales are composing songs that travel for miles, evolving over time like a living symphony. Dolphins carry names in the form of unique whistles, calling to one another across distance, remembering, recognizing.
Identity as vibration.
Connection as resonance.
And here we are, pretending we are separate from it all.
On land, horses read the truth of us with startling precision. Not what we say, but what we are. Our nervous system becomes a signal. Our breath, our energy, our coherence… or lack of it.
Which raises a fascinating question.
If they can read us that clearly… what are we constantly broadcasting?
Even the air participates in this quiet orchestration.
A new episode of SoulTech with Cynthia just dropped! We are dismantling the manosphere! Enjoy my conversation with men’s wellness leader and skin care guru Troy Alexander. His incredible story of going from prison to helping men level-up is truly inspiring. Listen on Apple, Spotify & YouTube.
Right before rain falls, the Earth releases that unmistakable scent. Petrichor. A signal carried on the wind that something is about to shift.
The planet doesn’t just exist.
It communicates.
And sometimes it speaks in fire.
Lightning can strike sand and turn it into glass, forming intricate structures beneath the surface. Fulgurites. Frozen electricity. A moment so intense it leaves behind something solid, something permanent.
Creation born from chaos.
Tell me that doesn’t sound familiar.
Because that is also the human story.
And then there are the nights when the ocean begins to glow.
Step into those waters and every movement ignites light. The sea responds to your presence like a living mirror of the stars above.
You move… and the world lights up.
Let that land for a moment.
And above it all, the sky continues its quiet seduction.
Some of the stars we see no longer exist.
Their light is still arriving.
You are looking at history… in real time.
So when you gaze upward, you are not just witnessing space.
You are witnessing time, memory, and the persistence of light.
And here is where it becomes impossible to ignore.
You are not separate from any of this.
You are one of the most intricate expressions of it.
You are a being who can imagine something that does not yet exist… and then bring it into reality.
You can close your eyes and relive a moment from years ago, your body responding as if it is happening now. Your mind does not just record reality. It re-creates it.
You can feel another person’s pain without a single word being spoken. Your heart is capable of extending beyond the boundaries of your own body.
You can take breath unconsciously for your entire life… and then, in a single moment, become aware of it and change your state, your chemistry, your experience.
You are walking around with the ability to regulate your own nervous system, alter your perception, and shift your consciousness… and most people were never taught how extraordinary that is.
Your body heals wounds you never consciously manage. Your brain rewires itself based on what you focus on. Your presence alone can calm a room… or disrupt it.
You are not just alive.
You are participating.
You are not just observing the magic.
You are generating it.
So the question is not whether magic exists.
The question is whether you are present enough to experience it.
Because this is where everything begins to change.
When you remember that the planet is alive, communicating, responsive… and that you are a conscious, creative force within it… something in you settles and expands at the same time.
You stop grasping.
You start noticing.
You move from reaction… into awareness.

And that awareness is the doorway.
Presence is not some soft, abstract concept reserved for meditation retreats and Sunday quotes.
It is access.
Access to higher consciousness.
Access to clarity.
Access to the deeper intelligence running through everything, including you.
The same intelligence that guides birds across continents, that allows forests to communicate underground, that moves tides and sparks lightning… exists within your own system.
But it requires your attention.
It requires you to be here.
Not five steps ahead. Not replaying yesterday. Not numbing out just enough to get through.
Here.
In the breath.
In the body.
In the moment where life is actually happening.
Because the truth is… the magic never left.
We did.
And the moment you return, even slightly, you begin to feel it again.
The aliveness.
The connection.
The quiet, electric sense that you are part of something far more intelligent, far more beautiful, and far more interconnected than you were ever taught to believe.
So yes, I was that child on the rooftop, staring into the abyss, asking questions that nearly unraveled me.
But now I understand.
I wasn’t looking for answers.
I was brushing up against awareness.
And awareness… is everything.
It is the bridge between surviving and actually living.
Between existing… and experiencing.
Between a life that feels flat… and a life that feels, unmistakably, magical.
The planet is still speaking.
The question is…
Are you present enough to hear it?
Wishing you an amazing week.
With love,
Cynthia
