Enjoy my video tutorial sharing how to do sleeping yoga :-)
Hello, radiant souls.
Let’s get cozy and talk about something that sounds like a spa treatment, feels like a nap, and might secretly be one of the most transformational tools in your wellness arsenal: Yoga Nidra.
Now, I won’t pretend I’ve been a daily devotee since birth (wouldn’t that be cute?). But I can tell you that during some of the harder chapters of my life—when my to-do list felt like an existential crisis and depression hung in the background like a moody ex—Yoga Nidra was one of the few things I could actually do. Because, get this… you don’t really have to do anything.
You just lie down, close your eyes, and follow a voice that lovingly lulls you into that juicy space between waking and sleeping. Somewhere in there, magic happens.
✨ Emotional stress starts to melt.
✨ The nervous system goes from DEFCON 5 to spa-day serenity.
✨ Your subconscious starts scrubbing itself clean of old gunk.
✨ Sometimes, if you’re lucky, your higher self pops in for a quick download.
Yoga Nidra isn’t about trying hard. It’s about surrendering smartly. And in a world that glorifies hustle, that’s revolutionary.
Here’s why it matters now:
We’re living in wild times. AI is rising. Collective stress is high. And people are burning out like it’s a competitive sport. We don’t just need rest—we need sacred restoration. Yoga Nidra offers that. No incense required (though I do love a little patchouli).

Your How-To: The Nidra Starter Pack
Find a quiet space where no one will ask you for snacks or tax advice.
Lie down like the queen or king you are.
Get your breath under command with 5-10 inhale/exhale through the nose.
Set a simple intention like, “I allow myself to heal” or “I return to wholeness.”
Do a body scan from toes to head or vice-versa (you can also use guided meditation)
Visualize a dream-filled sleep or a wonderful day ahead of you. Paint the details!
Let go. You may fall asleep. That’s okay. Your soul is still doing the work.
If you are doing Yoga Nidra in the morning, gradually come back to awareness and begin your day with a smile!
You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to believe in chakras. All you need is the willingness to lay it down—your stress, your striving, your Superwoman cape—and rest in pure awareness.
Yoga Nidra has been called the "psychic sleep" that heals. I call it the great exhale. And we could all use a few more of those.
So, if you’ve been craving clarity, softness, peace, or just a moment where no one needs anything from you, this is your invitation.
Lay down. Tune in. Heal up.
With love and (horizontal) bliss,
